On December 10, 2007, a gift feature was added to Wii Shop Channel, which allows users to purchase games and channels as gifts and send them to others. The recipient user had the option to download or refuse the gift when opening the Wii Shop channel, sending a notification to the sender message if it was accepted. If a user has already had the game or the user has not decided to accept the gift within 45 days, the gift has expired and the Wii points are returned to the sender. The feature was range related and was not compatible with the Nintendo eShop of the Wii U. You are responsible for all the information you pass on to others using our products, services and websites.
